This is probably one of my most significant observations.
When you’re blocked it’s because you are accepting something pre-made
and you need to be looking at the recipe, and isolating the ingredients that taste especially good to you.
That is how I need to approach everything I create… stories, worlds, characters, scripts, concepts.
Borrow ingredients. But make your own recipe.
