The world is crumbling, and as per usual, I’m distracted with the challenges of my own life. 

I’ve discovered that confidence is not the same as courage.  

You are confident, sometimes. In the writer’s room, yes. Expounding on how the series MARTIN does not get enough credit as the one comedy pilots ever, passionately confident. If it’s okay to eat octopus, even though there is evidence to suggest they may be from another planet, not so much. 

You are courageous, but you forget. That night you changed money in the parking lot at Eko Hotel? When you moved across the country to start over? Major surgery? How could you forget that?

You are confident. You are courageous. 

How is it that you forget what you have inside you? 

Your latest creative experiment comes on the heels of directing your first short. You are teaching yourself, using AI to guide you, how to edit. You will soon have all the Infinity Stones of filmmaking.
