MY SUMMER IN MEXICO (7.2)

i went so hard on the website. my mind is craving creation.

all my writing projects are flowing today. the short story series, the blog, the journal.

so, this is what I have to remember

  1. You are not a linear thinker or doer.

  2. For you, a healthy writing sprint is no more than 5 hours.

  3. You prefer to rest and reset - by taking care of home and your body - on Sundays and Wednesdays.

  4. If you skip yoga for too long, your body will be unhappy with you.

  5. As soon as you realize you can’t meet a deadline, let them know. Don’t try to work faster or hide that you need more time. Apologize and let them knomw.

  6. You have to intentionally balance, days where you’re using your problem solving mind and your creation mind. Or your body will do it for you.

I know I’m forgetting some, but I’ll be better about logging them here.

I wonder if I should pair working on the journal with my LinkedIn/agency posts.

I feel much more committed to journaling my thoughts and feelings because if Frida Khalo Hearing the words of her journal inspired me to commit to consistency of documenting my journey, my observations and my process. She is the proof for why it’s important and necessary, especially for women, for lovers. Viva la Vida.

I also realize, that where I am now, if I don’t learn the lessons of this season, I won’t survive the next level.
